Race Day Instructions
Race Location/ Start: The race starts at 9 am in front of the Rowayton Community Center., 33 Highland Ave
With a record turnout this year we advise everyone to be there at least 15 minutes early.
Parking: Parking is at Graham Capital, across the street from the Community Center at 40 Highland Ave. Map Here
Start: Please do not crowd the start. For the first time, we will have chip transponders at the start that should pick up your time when you cross the start, so you get an official start to finish time. So no need to rush to the start once the horn is blown.
Race Day Registration All race day registration is being done electronically. Please register here on your computer or phone. There is no guarantee of same-day bib pickup (see below) but you can run without a bib if you are registered.
Race Day Bib Pick Up We do not guarantee race day packet pickup. The earlier you get there the more likely you are to get your bib. Bib pickup opens at 7:45 am. If you have registered, you are free to run without a bib. 1 Miler runners do not need bibs, but there are vanity #1 bibs if wanted.
Free on site parking courtesy of Graham Capital.
From 2023 organization of the Trot has been entrusted by founder Cameron Letters to the Rowayton Civic Association, to help ensure the Trot's ongoing growth and success for many years to come. Proceeds from the event will continue to benefit great local non profits, which in past years have included: Rowayton's Fire Department, Arts Center, Library and Gardeners Club, South Norwalk's Open Doors Shelter, Brien McMahon Athletics, Filling in the Blanks and the Family and Childrens' Agency.
From Cameron a huge THANK YOU to all participants, donors, sponsors and volunteers who have helped grow the Trot from 20 runners at our inaugural event in 2010 to over 1,400 in 2023.
